Mochila Wayuu Bags are like art piece and a cultural heritage. Each bag is the creation of the Indigenous Wayuu Women from La Guajira desert. Tightly woven and this process can take 30 or more days to complete using the crochet and weaving techniques.
Only small amounts are made due to complexitiy of techniques involved. Mochila Bags are are intricate in their patterns. The designs are influenced by the women who produce them.
